Crash Team Racing is the Sony Playstation equivalent to TuxKart and MarioKart - written by Naughty Dog Productions. The Karts are very similar to one-another - but the characters are made very large so it's easy to tell which one is which from behind.

Like Diddy Kong Racing, you don't pick your track from a GUI, you drive to a 'pad' on an island and are teleported to the track of your choice.
